Things to take care in Wedding Webcast

LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080

Wedding webcast has really come into ‘vogue’ and almost everyone is opting to get a webcast done for their wedding, and this is done over and above the videography or photography. The reason is simple. Mostly all have one or the other relative or friend staying abroad or somewhere else and is not able to be present at the wedding venue.

LiveStreamPro is one of the oldest and reputed wedding webcast vendor and has start-of-the-art technology to undertake wedding webcast assignments of any magnitude. LiveStreamPro has carried out many wedding webcasts and holds tremendous experience in the field.

From our experience of having webcasted so many weddings, we would like to share some of the things that the couple going for wedding webcast need to keep in mind:

1. List of Virtual Guests:
You should ensure that the list of all your virtual guests along with their correct email ids is given to the webcasting vendor. Email ids are very important as the link to view the wedding webcast will be sent to all guests via email only. The numbers of virtual guest effects the option in which live streaming will be done. So the number needs to be decided correctly and communicated to the webcast vendor.
    2.  Prepare your guests:
Before the wedding, make sure that the link to your wedding live web streaming is sent to all your virtual guests by the webcast vendor. Ask your guests to go through the email and the explanations with it and keep the webcast vendor’s number handy, in case they have a problem. In cases where some additional software needs to be installed, that can be done beforehand. So if all guests have familiarised themselves with the procedure and downloaded the software beforehand, it will be convenient for them on the day. And also if any adjustment to firewalls, etc. is required, that can be taken care of too.

    3. Choose a good networked wedding location:
Webcasting requires good net connectivity. While the webcasting company uses its own internet dongles, it is very important that the network available to them is proper and undisturbed. Good network will make sure that your wedding is live streamed freely and uninterrupted into the computer screens of all your virtual guests.
      4. Acknowledge your Virtual Guests:
It is very important that you acknowledge your virtual guests every now and then. This will make them feel a part of your wedding. After all they also wanted to be with you and share your happiness, so don’t forget to include them by acknowledging them. If their messages are shared with you by the webcasting vendor, take out time to respond to them.

It is important that you hire a professional wedding webcast vendor to carry out your webcast for you. It is your special day, your once is a lifetime day, which you will cherish all your life, so let some amateur not ruin it for you.

How webcasting my wedding saved me?

LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080
I was to get married in a small church and so I could not call all my friends to my wedding. I had only about 100 invites and more than 300 guests to invite. I was stressed out completely. I wanted all my friends to be a part of my most special day. And all my friends are dear to me and so I wanted all of them to attend it.

A few of my friends saw the stress I was going through and so they suggested that I go for wedding webcast. That way all of them would be able to see my wedding and be a part of the LIVE ceremony while it was taking place. The suggestion was exciting and I decided to go for it.

I hired LiveStreamPro, a Delhi-based company and premiere webcast service provider, to live stream my wedding. I gave them the list of all my virtual guests and that was it. My job was done. Rest all LiveStreampro handled brilliantly.

So on the day, all my friends were able to watch the entire wedding proceedings and all its rituals. Some of them assembled at one place to watch the wedding together. I could even talk to them, as in they sent me messages on real time and I replied to them live. It felt as if they are with me only and not sitting somewhere else. It was so much fun.

And since I was getting the webcasting done I took the opportunity to invite a few of my relatives and friends from abroad also who would have otherwise missed the wedding, all having some or the other reason... cost... office... school... and so on. But anyways, they were happy that I did not forget them and made them a part of my wedding. And I got a lot of blessings from all across the world. Lucky me.

There were a few of my friends who were not able to watch the wedding live, so for them LiveStreamPro provided a video on demand facility for viewing. They uploaded my wedding on the internet and gave me the login password, which I could share with the people who I wanted to share my wedding with.

My wedding was a hit and each and every one of my friends go to see it. I think to get my wedding webcasted was the best decision I made and LiveStreamPro captured it brilliantly.

      Wedding Webcasting Vs Videography

LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080

Of the two options given below, which one will you opt for, to view a wedding that you would have liked to attend in person but are not able to attend due to your prior commitments.

Option 1: Watch the wedding live over the internet while it is taking place; unedited and real; where you can yourself participate too.

Option 2: Watch an edited video of the wedding much after the event is over, without being able to participate, which means that you are just a silent spectator.

Given a chance, I would have opted for the first option. Where I am watching a live wedding as it is happening and I am able to convey my good wishes to the bride and groom and comments on the proceedings too. I am sure you would have also chosen the first option, rather than watching an edited version. Here, the first option is Webcasting or Live Streaming and the second option is Videography.

And there is more, the wedding webcast vendor who undertakes to live stream the wedding also makes it available on the internet for the on demand viewing. So if you are not able to watch the wedding live, you can still watch it later on at any time of your convenience. And this video on demand (VOD), can be your wedding video, if you so desire.

Videographers, most of the time, edit some of the wedding moments while making their videos, which for them are not important. But in video on demand, all unedited version is available, which is much more fun to watch. The videographers take time to give you the videos but video on demand is made available to you within hours of the event getting over.

LiveStreamPro (www.livestreampro.com) is a Wedding Webcast vendor in Delhi that provides webcasting services across India. The services provided by LiveStreamPro are very cost efficient. We try and capture all special moments at a wedding to make the day special for both the bride and groom and  the experience of watching the webcasting pleasurable for all the virtual guests.

5 Myths about Webcasting a Wedding

LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080

Wedding Webcasting means live streaming or broadcasting a wedding live over the internet so that people who otherwise could not attend the wedding can watch it from anywhere in the world.

Although Wedding Webcasting has gained immense popularity over the years, people still have a lot of apprehension while taking a decision to go for webcasting a wedding. LiveStreamPro decided to take this opportunity to discuss some of the misunderstanding that exist in the minds of people towards wedding webcasting.

      a)    It is going to cost me a lot to webcast my wedding?
Many people think that webcasting will cost them a fortune. This is not true. Webcasting in fact is very cost effective. The cost varies only slightly with the number of virtual guests you would like to have, but it is still very cost efficient. In fact many webcast service providers, including LiveStreamPro undertake the task of videopraphy as well as photography of the wedding, along with webcasting the wedding. You just need to discuss the options with the provider.

      b)    I can chat Live with all my virtual guests?
People have a misconception a lot of times that webcasting is a simultaneous two way communication where they can chat live with their family and friends. This is however not the case. The family and friends watching the webcast can send their wishes to the bride and groom on real time, and this message is conveyed to the bride and groom by the webcasting team and the bride and groom can reply to that message live if they choose to do so.

      c)    I am scared that any random person will be able to view my wedding?
Most people are scared that by webcasting their wedding, they are making their wedding available for public viewing over the internet and anyone can watch it. This is not the case at all. Your wedding will be available for viewing only to those people to whom you want. You will be required to share the details of all your virtual guests with your webcasting service provider, who will then ensure that all your virtual guests are sent the link to view your wedding.

      d)    I am afraid that it will be too technical for my guests to understand?
People think that a person needs to possess a lot of technical knowledge to view the wedding webcast. Viewing a webcast is very simple. It happens by just a click of a button. Let us explain how. Once you provide the list of your virtual guests with their email ids to the wedding webcast vendor, he will send a link. By just clicking on the link your virtual invitees will be able to view your wedding. It is not complicated at all. In fact at LiveStreamPro, we ensure that the guests are well versed and comfortable with what needs to be done before the event starts. We insist on a dry run before the day of the event so that if any software needs to be installed, it is done beforehand only. We also dedicate a team your event on ‘the day’ incase any of your guests need any assistance.

      e)    My wedding is going to be at an area where there is no internet. Then what sense does it make for me to get a webcast of my wedding.
Unfortunately, webcasting requires internet connectivity. But in such a case, LiveStreamPro takes the option of ‘deferred live’. This means that we capture your wedding and then stream it or webcast it from the nearest place which has internet connectivity. This way your relatives and friends, even if cannot see it live, they can see it very soon after it has happened, hence not entirely losing its impact. And LiveStreamPro team will still capture their comments on real time for your viewing at convenience.

Wedding webcasting is an excellent way to have all your family and friends attend your wedding and give you their blessings. So one must insist on incorporating the cost of wedding webcast in the wedding budget.

If you have any questions regarding webcasting or would like LiveStreamPro to webcast a wedding for you, please write to us at sales@livestreampro.com or visit www.livestreampro.com.

Webcast – A boon for NRIs

LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080

A few days back I got a call from my friend here in Malaysia. She was upset. She told me that her best friend from school, who stays in India, is getting married and she will not be able to go, because her kids have their semester exams in school. She said all her other close friends will also be there and she will be the only one missing out on all the fun. She was really upset and I could not do or say much to console her. This is one of the disadvantages of staying far and we all NRIs experience it some or the other time, sometimes it is a birthday party, sometimes anniversary, sometimes house warming party and similar other events of great sentimental value to us.

After that day, I met her yesterday and asked her if she had heard from her friend and if she heard how the wedding went. She told me that she attended the wedding herself. She told me that her friend had got her wedding webcasted through this service provider called LiveStreamPro and so she was able to attend the wedding virtually over the internet.

She then went on to explain me about this amazing technology called Webcasting. Like we watch the live broadcast of cricket match or any other event on television, in Webcasting we watch Live broadcast on the internet. Through the use of webcasting she was not only able to watch the wedding LIVE and see of all the wedding rituals, she was also able to send messages to her friend on real time to which her friend responded live. Her other friends also spoke to her live. She was so excited telling me all this.

To me LiveStreamPro or any other webcasting company for that matter is doing us NRIs a great service through this technology. This keeps us closer to our family and friends back in India and helps us be a part of all the important occasions that we otherwise would have missed.

I saw my friend's wedding in Airport Waiting Lounge

Courtesy: LiveStreamPro's Customer, LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080

Just one day before my best friend was to get married in Delhi, I had to go to Mumbai urgently for a business conference. My boss was very adamant that I go for it and so I had no choice but to go.

But I had made my arrangements well. I had booked myself a 5:00 pm flight back to Delhi (on the day of the wedding), so that I have enough time to get ready and be on my friend’s side by the time he sat on his ‘ghori’ (the horse).

But as it happens, my work prolonged and I had to postpone my flight. I had just one option with me if I wanted to attend my friend’s wedding. I knew the wedding webcast service provider my friend had hired for covering his wedding live, as I had helped him find one. Although I was uncertain whether this option will work at such short, as these guys had specifically told us that they needed to know the number of people who are to watch the live webcast beforehand, I still wanted to give it a try.

I called the webcast vendor in Delhi and told him my problem. These guys could have easily told me it is not possible and I would have listened. But they asked me to give them 30 minutes and took my number and email address. After precisely 30-40 minutes I received a call from the webcast guys telling me that they have sent me a link on my email address and very patiently told me the procedure of logging on and viewing the live webcast.

Now this is what I call customer service and I was totally impressed and relieved and their fan for life. And it was then that I called my friend and told him about what had happened. Thankfully he understood. And the live webcast even allowed us to talk to each other, as I could send him the message on real time and he replied live (in code words obviously).

But all said and done, if it was not the proactive and helping attitude of the LiveStreamPro guys, I would have certainly missed my best friend’s wedding. Thank you LiveStreamPro!

My choice for Wedding Webcast vendor

Courtesy: LiveStreamPro's Customer, LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080

My cousin from America was to get married in Ludhiana, Punjab (India) last year. And since her friends from America could not be a part of the wedding, she insisted on having her wedding webcasted live, so that a live broadcast is done of the wedding over the internet and her friends and few family member, who could not be a part of the wedding, could view it live sitting anywhere in the world.

So my uncle asked me to find a good and cost-effective webcast vendor for the same who provided services across India. I decided to go for a Delhi-based vendor, so that I am able to communicate the requirements to them in a better manner and also negotiate with them face to face. Also most importantly, the vendor needs to provide services in Ludhiana too.

Having these preconditions in mind, I started my search like anyone else would. I typed the following on google.com:

Wedding Webcast Service Provider + delhi-based

I went through the websites intensely and chose five webcast companies who provide services across India and the provider I finally chose was a company named LiveStreamPro (www.livestreampro.com).

I guess why I chose them was because of the first impression of the company I got. The marketing guy who came and met me spoke with the confidence of a person who has executed many similar events successfully. He answered each of my question with a casestudy and reference. Being from marketing background myself, I can really make out when a person is talking truth and not cooking stories.

But having done my bit, I was nervous on the day of the wedding because if something went wrong I would be blamed. But believe me I was thrilled of my decision to go with LiveStreamPro. The webcasting team who covered the wedding was so well mannered and humble and did an excellent job; and did I mention, LiveStreamPro was cheaper than almost all the vendors I spoke to. I also noticed them helping other wedding guests with their camcorders and cameras and giving them tips to get the best result.

My uncle and others in the family appreciated my judgement skills. I was the star of the evening and even today I am quoted when old memories are discussed.

      Wedcasting

LiveStreamPro, New Delhi (India), 9810999475, 9818406080

Wedding webcasting  or wedding webcast, popularly known as wedcasting  is a feature of live streaming which the technology has come up with, to enable people to view the wedding ceremonies of their dear ones virtually over the internet, without actually being present there.

Wedding WebcastingMany webcast service providers today provide the wedcasting services. LiveStreamPro, one of the premiere and oldest Delhi (INDIA)-based webcast service provider, offers an excellent state-of-the-art technology with complete webcasting solutions for live streaming wedding coverage.

In olden times if someone was unable to attend a function, they would totally missed it. Well they were able to see videos of the ceremony for sure, but that was no fun... was it? I remember sitting through some of those videos and waiting for them to get over soon. Sometimes because I was jealous of the people having so much fun and I not being part of it and sometimes because I was bored watching it because I was not there in the videos.

But with webcasting all this can be changed. Rather than watching the video of the ceremony you have missed, because you were not able to make it for the ceremony as you did not get leave from your office or your child had his/ her exam the next day or your spouse was sick, you can still attend it virtually over the internet, sitting wherever you are. But this is possible only if the wedding is being webcasted.

Through webcasting, one can be a part ceremony while it is going on, watch the live coverage of it over the internet... And what more, send blessings too real time to which the bride and groom can respond LIVE.

LiveStreamPro also provides you the facility of archiving videos for later viewing as per convenience, termed as Video-on-Demand, for which a login password is provided that can be shared with friends too. LiveStreamPro has some of the most experienced videographers and photographers on its team, who will ensure excellent coverage of your wedding.

LiveStreamPro is one of India’s leading professional webcast service providers and they offer to webcast other special events like birthday parties, anniversaries, high-profile parties and others. With live webcasting or live streaming, one can share live coverage of all the special occasions and happiness with all your known ones sitting anywhere in the world.
